+ND+A aims to be your definitive guide to India’s profound transformation. I aim to cut through the noise of conventional narratives, providing a weekly stream of data-driven insights and essential monthly deep-dives into the systems-level progress shaping the new India. From advancements in technology and green energy to the all-pervading impact of geography on daily life, my mission is to deliver an objective, optimistic, and rigorously analytical perspective on the world’s most dynamic nation—a perspective you won’t find anywhere else.

1. Why this, why now?

For years, I’ve been fascinated by complex systems—how technology, geography, AI, and policy interact to shape our world. But when I looked for deep, data-rich, and objective analysis of India’s transformation, I found a gap.

On one side, there are fleeting headlines and fragmented news. On the other, deeply entrenched narratives, both positive and negative, that often feel more like propaganda than progress.

+ND+A is my answer to that gap.

India is undergoing one of the most profound and rapid transformations in modern history. The real story isn’t just what is happening (a new semiconductor fab, a massive solar park), but why it’s happening, how it connects, and what it means for a billion-plus people and the world.

“Why now?” Because the sheer velocity of this change is reshaping our century, and the old lenses are no longer sharp enough to see it clearly. We need a new chronicle, one grounded in data and objective optimism.

2. What kind of community are we building?

This is not just a newsletter; it’s an invitation to think together.

I’m looking to build a community of curious, objective optimists. This will be a space that values data over dogma. A place where we can explore ambitious, complex, and even audacious ideas, like the speculative geography of a “Blue Rajasthan,” the geopolitical dance of building a native chip industry from scratch, or how India’s digital stack is a model for the world.
